BENJAMIN DARCÉ

Instrumentalist, Performer, and Mountaineer

Welcome to the world of Ben Darcé – an accomplished guitarist and mountaineer based in Whitefish, Montana. Blending his passion for music and the mountains, Ben creates unforgettable experiences through his performances and adventures.

Originally from Texas and South Carolina, Ben discovered his love for jazz while studying at the University of North Texas. His unique approach to playing guitar – upside down and backwards – set him apart in this competitive program. During summers, Ben honed his craft as a resident musician at the historic lodge in East Glacier Park, Montana.

Ben’s music draws inspiration from legends like J.S. Bach, Charlie Parker, Pat Metheny, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. With mentorship from esteemed teachers and collaborations with distinguished musicians, Ben’s style bridges genres and captivates audiences.

Beyond music, Ben is an accomplished mountaineer, with remarkable feats such as summiting over 200 peaks in Glacier National Park, climbing Mt. Ama Dablam in Nepal, and ascending Mt. Manaslu without supplemental oxygen or guides.

Today, Ben performs regularly at local venues, private events, and weddings, delivering magical and professional performances that resonate with his audience. Whether playing solo or with local artists, his music reflects a spirit of adventure and creativity.

Book Ben Darcé for your next event and experience the magic of a musician whose passion knows no bounds. From intimate gatherings to larger celebrations, Ben’s artistry sets the perfect tone for any occasion.

"Guitarist Ben Darcé plays with authority and emotion in a variety of styles, and his improvising is melodic and from the heart. It’s my pleasure to play with him, and I look forward to more collaborations in the future."
